Thank you to everyone who joined us for LITE’s 28th Annual Wild Blueberry Pancake Breakfast at the Ukrainian Labour Temple. Each year, this event brings together community members, leaders, and partners to celebrate local job creation and the impact of community-led employment opportunities. Your support continues to help LITE fund programs that make a long-lasting difference for families across Winnipeg.

Entertainment Programming by Folklorama
We were honored to have partnered with Folklorama for this year’s Breakfast entertainment. Below are the entertainers who joined us at this year’s event.
Brian Clyne is a proud member of the Pequis First Nation in Manitoba and has been sharing his culture through the art of dance. Over the past 32 years, Clyne has skillfully mastered the art of Indigenous hoop and traditional dance, which has carried him ac ross the globe to share his culture.
Made up of seasoned local musicians, pianist / keyboardist Stuardo Figueroa from Guatemala and multi - instrumentalist and singer Jaime Torres from El Salvador, this musical duo brings the best of traditional and contemporary Latin American music to any event.
The Winnipeg Steel Orchestra promote s the appreciation and preservation of Caribbean Steelband music as a contribution to the development of Canada’s culture. Some of its objectives consist of educating its members and the general public about the origins and development of Steelband music, promoting a better understanding between people of the Caribbean and other origins, and acting as an ambassador for the City of Winnipeg and the Province of Manitoba while performing.
