Ahead of LITE’s Annual General Meeting on September 9, 2026, we are pleased to introduce two individuals who have put their names forward for election to LITE’s Board of Directors: Jordan Armstrong and Jon Epp.
Both nominees bring a strong connection to Winnipeg, valuable professional experience, and a shared interest in supporting LITE’s mission of creating employment opportunities and strengthening our community.
Jordan Armstrong
Jordan Armstrong is a Winnipeg lawyer in his fourth year of practice, with a focus on family law, real estate, and wills and estates. He enjoys everything Winnipeg and the surrounding area has to offer, including sports, arts, and getting out of the city for a long weekend.
Jordan is interested in becoming involved with LITE because he recognizes that finding employment is not always as easy as it should be. He believes that helping make employment more accessible can strengthen the community and create opportunities for people to prosper.
Jon Epp
Jon Epp is a Dealer Relationship Manager with the captive finance arm of General Motors Canada, working throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. He brings 20 years of experience in sales, finance, credit, marketing, training, and vendor management within the automotive industry.
Originally from Manitoba, Jon and his wife moved to Winnipeg in 2023 to further their careers and reconnect with family. Having personally benefited from career counselling, work experience programs, and diversity initiatives, Jon has seen firsthand the impact that access to tools, resources, encouragement, and support can have on an individual’s livelihood.
Jon is passionate about building stronger communities through economic opportunity, removing social barriers, and empowering people through skills development. He hopes to bring his professional experience to LITE while supporting initiatives focused on training, employment, and community development.
LITE’s Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 PM. Members are encouraged to review the nominees ahead of the AGM.
