About the Workshop
Marketing can seem overwhelming, especially if you didn’t expect to be a business manager. In this workshop, we will explore what marketing is, define several categories of marketing, and look at how they are typically used in practice. We will also examine how marketing a social enterprise is similar to, yet different from marketing a profit-focused business.
Participants will leave this workshop with a list of potential marketing opportunities for their social enterprises, along with some practical first steps to begin exploring and pursuing those opportunities.
This workshop is for social enterprises looking to develop, expand, or refine their marketing techniques, as well as those interested in better understanding how customers are likely to encounter and interact with their marketing materials.
A virtual meeting link will be sent to registered participants prior to the session.
