It’s that time of year. The time when we look forward to big family dinners, and dread crowded shopping malls.
Except things are different this year, aren’t they?
The holiday season is about getting together to support each other through the cold winter months, and that’s not possible for everyone in our community.
But it could be, with your help.
This #Giving Tuesday (that’s today!), we’d like to ask for your help to support those in need , and we’ve made it easier than ever to give.
Help us meet our hamper goal!
One of our longest-running programs, the LITE Hamper provides much-needed support for Winnipeg families in the form of food and gifts to get them through the cold months.
This year’s Hamper also creates jobs to make the gifts it includes, and gives the families it supports the power of choice with grocery gift cards.
We’re also including a card, signed in your name, to let the recipient know you chose to support them.
We’ve made participating this year as easy as possible – just a few clicks on the LITE Shop means our partner organizations can deliver support this December.
Our goal is 450 hampers by December 10th. Every donation counts!
